Life. Through my lens.

Deep Caramel & Sweet Raisins.

Inside the house is quiet all but for the ticking of the grandfather clock. Golden rays of afternoon light are flooding in to the room through the windows. The peace is momentarily broken by the thud of the Bundaberg Dark Oak bottle dropping onto the wooden table and the squeak of the chair on the floor as I sit down. Reminiscent of a gentle river of gold as I pour a small splash into my tumbler and the crisp sound of ice cracking in my hand as I turn the glass toward my nose. Deep Caramel and Sweet Raisins fill my senses. A storm has recently passed overhead and now steam is rising from the wet pavement outside under the suns gaze. This is Queensland summer.
