Mirus Battery tour...

About 50 people turned up for this tour of the bunker. Some of the rooms were just too small to hold them all at once so the group had to be split in two at one point with half having the talk while the rest were held in one of the other rooms to have a look around. so plenty of backstopping practice of shepherding people from room to room in the dark.
Tim gave me two books as a thank you for helping; one on the Occupation of Alderney and the other a very useful short history of Guernsey.
Quite interesting that a junior school was built in the 1970s with such a large bunker in its grounds.
