I gotta get out of this place

This unfortunate chap is part of an exhibition in Empuries, or rather Castello d'Empuries, a charming small town which was the residence of the Counts of Empuries, who between them founded 7 monasteries in the area.

In its centre Castelló retains quiet charm and even in the tourist season one can still enjoy peace and contemplation. there is an interesting museum in the centre where this poor fellow resides in a replica of the town dungeon.

We spent a couple of days exploring the area which is famed for wildlife and birdlife.
