Atlantic City

Before the holiday I had an email that John Legend was going to be playing in Atlantic City while I was there. It was a toss up between the John Legend gig and a NHL game on the same date, the hands of fate chose wisely as the NHL lockout kicked in, John Legend cancelled all of his dates bar this one and Hurricaine Sandy meant we didn't need to evacuate AC until Sunday! YAY!

This morning I had breakfast with the Fam and bid farewell to the parents and bro, who all have work to get back to. Around lunch time, Andrea and I started the road trip to the barrier island.

Got to the hotel, dumped bags and went OUTLET shopping, there was so not enough time but we did what we could, on top of that found out none of the shops would be open tomorrow due to the EVACUATION of AC due to Sandy, thanks for telling us on check in hotel!

We went to the Tun Tavern for dinner, then got ready to hit the Borgata Casino resort to see John Legend! He was awesome!

Post gig we swanned about the resort then decided to hit Resorts hotel by the board walk as this is where the only gay bar in town was and Andrea had never been gay clubbing. It was also Halloween weekend as its in the middle of the week this year, it was all that is good about being gay, on the 13th floor or a hotel, floor to celing windows that led to balcony's on either side, and everyone in crazy costumes. We danced all night!

Around 3am we hit the board walk for the biggest slice of pizza ever, even got a ride on a push along ROLLER ! It was as Atlantic city as it gets.

4 am to bed, good effort I feel, easily the best night out of 2012!
