dumping the christmas tree

This morning christmas trees were picked up by the local garnish collection services in our area.

Here are some key facts on the christmas tree:
- Germans prefer the Nordmann-fir (around 16million trees p.a. are being sold)
- Denmark is the leading country in the export of Nordmann-firs (10million p.a.)
- we spend averagely 22? on a christmastree (in 2006) and counting
- it takes eight to twelve years for a tree to grow up to a height of 2m (6ft)
