Sentient beings

You don't have to observe pigs for long to realise they're not so different to us really. I was back at Butser for today's heritage walk and we started with a guided tour of the farm by yours truly, followed by a walk on the Downs, and ended up with coffee and snacks. We just got caught, right at the end, in a heavy downpour but otherwise the weather was kind to us. It was nice to see the animals again and I hope it's not too long before we meet again.
