There's a really interesting ancient Egyptian exhibition on at the Ca n'Oliver museum in Mahon. No actual mummies (but I got my fill of those in the Liverpool museum last month), just tomb lids like this one, funerary artifacts on loan from Barcelona and lots of prints from the original Howard Carter discovery of Tutenkhamun's tomb in 1922, as well as more recent head and body scans of the boy king himself and a model of the tomb with all the rooms containing tiny replicas of the contents. Fascinating stuff.
