I agreed to take a phone photo each time someone joins our church. This is one of three new people from worship on Sunday. The small quilts behind her are part of a ministry by quilters for people who are sick. Congregation members are invited to tie a knot on a quilt, say a prayer, and later in the service someone wraps a quilt around their shoulders while people gather with hands reaching out while the minister leads us in prayer.
