Peter is one of my oldest pals. He's an ex-colleague from my first school, where he was very kind and supportive to a feckless new, young probationer (me). P climbed the educational ladder and made it to the dizzy heights of headteacher. He's now enjoying a well-earned retirement and has moved back to the area. Another cycle/golfmate - woohoo!
