Hermits cave

I'm the darkness between the trees on the other side of this deep gorge is a hermits cave. 
Except it wasn't built or lived in by a dude wanting to hide away. 
It's actually just built to create drama and mystery for people going to see the waterfall. Apparently the Earl of Breadalbane had it made in the 1790s!
