Priodas llawenydd ~ Joyful Wedding

Aethon ni i Fryste ddydd Sul i gymryd rhan mewn dathlu priodas ein ffrindiau ni - Pema a Pete.  Roedd y briodas yn 'Feed Bristol'.  Mae'n lle diddorol iawn gyda gerddi lle maen nhw'n tyfu fwyd a blodau gwyllt. Yn ogystal â gerddi, mae llawer o leoedd tawel o gwmpas y lle gyda ffensys sgrin helyg a lleoedd di eistedd.

Roedd y briodas i fod i ddigwydd yn yr awyr agored, yn un o'r lleoedd hyfryd.  Yn anffodus roedd syniadau gwahanol gyda'r tywydd, ac roedd rhaid i bopeth fod wedi symud o dan glawr. Roedd y seremoni yn hardd gyda Pema a Pete yn ddweud eu haddunedau o flaen y gwesteion i gyd.

Roedd cinio yn cael ei goginio gan staff o Feed Bristol.  Cafodd y rhan fwyaf o'r fwyd ei thyfu yn y lle - bwyd lleol iawn. Roedd pawb wedi dod â chacennau, felly roedd digon i'w fwyta.

Roedd amser i grwydro o gwmpas yn y prynhawn ac yn gwerthfawrogi'r gwaith, y tai gwydr a'r cynnyrch.  Roedd e'n ddiddorol ac rydw i'n meddwl ei fod enghraifft i ddinasoedd eraill.

Yn y prynhawn hwyr rodd llawer o adloniant gyda phobol yn canu, darllen barddoniaeth, a dau o fandiau yn perfformio.

Roedd e'n ddiwrnod llawn a llawenydd.

We went to Bristol on Sunday to take part in celebrating the wedding of our friends - Pema and Pete. The wedding was at 'Feed Bristol'. It's a very interesting place with gardens where they grow food and wild flowers. As well as gardens, there are lots of quiet areas around the place with willow screen fences and seating areas.

The wedding was supposed to take place outdoors, in one of the lovely places. Unfortunately there were different ideas with the weather, and everything had to move under cover. The ceremony was beautiful with Pema and Pete telling their vows in front of all the guests.

Lunch was cooked by staff from Feed Bristol. Most of the food was grown in the place - very local. Everyone had brought cakes, so there was plenty to eat.

There was time to wander around in the afternoon and appreciate the work, the greenhouses and the produce. It was interesting and I think it's an example to other cities.

In the late afternoon there was lots of entertainment with people singing, reading poetry, and two bands performing.

It was a full and joyous day.
