Textures of Cornish Slate.

After the heavy rain of last night, where I was glad not to be sleeping under a tin roof - ie. A caravan, so bad was the noise. We couldn't believe what a beautiful morning it was. Breezy, very breezy, but sunny. As this could be the only day we get some sun we decided to head off on a longish cliff/beach walk to Rock further along the coast, where we had a 'Full English' breakfast/brunch. My phone app tells me we did 9.2km, 14,430 steps. This is fine for us but I was a little concerned how our nearly 13 year old (In 2 weeks) dog would cope. I needn't have worried, she loved it! And there wasn't a Christmas tree in sight (See yesterday's blip).

Walking along the beach I heard my name called out, not what one expects when visiting a place far from home! Turns out it was another Beardie friend from the show circuit, Bev Cope. Small world. Last time we were  here in June, another Beardie friend spotted me going into one of the art shops in Padstow. We're surprised at how busy it is, seems like more people than there were back in June. I'd say if you don't have a dog round here, you're the odd one out!

The extra is the view towards Padstow.

Sat indoors now with the promised rain lashing at the windows.
