Magnolia

Last year we gave our large Magnolia a hard pruning being prepared not to have any flowers in Spring. We now have three flowers that can be seen, so is it flowering late or early for next Spring. The bad news is it will soon be as big as when we chopped it.
We were out in a tremendous downpour returning from the tip (fortunately), wipers on fast could not cope it was worse than being in a car wash, but the car is gleaming. My water butt was empty on Friday it is now full.
