Town was alarmingly quiet today, students are not back yet and it seems to be blissfully devoid of tourists. 

Alf and I listened to Jeremy Corbyn's conference speech on the way home, that, along with the news about 'Boris the untruthful' prompted an interesting political discussion. I find politics endless fascinating, it's a shame that there seems to be no sensible outcome at the moment. I really hope they get held to account. 

Corbyn's speech was, of course, amazing, so many promises, so much money to be spent. He claims to be getting it from taxing corporates and the rich, I really don't see how it adds up.
