Brutalist

As we passed this row of HT pylons in the RSPB Reserve this afternoon, I reflected again on the architectural merit of the structures.  It wasn't many years ago that I learned that the design was the result of a competition and was introduced in the 1920s.  

They are brutalist, but quite interesting, structures.
