Artwork

This is a painted by me in acrylics from a photo taken by my son Paul. He takes some gorgeous photos of flowers and I wanted to interpret a couple of them (this is one of a pair). I like painting in acrylics because they dry faster than oils but give a similar effect.
The weather has been nasty and grey with drizzly rain today, not conducive to going out even if I did feel well. We're all still suffering from effects of the virus we caught over the Christmas period, but we managed to potter around today packing away the last of the Christmas decorations and removing the accumulated dust that lay beneath them!!
