The High Street

A little early for a meeting, I strolled along Innerleithen High Street. The British High street is going through a bad time. Innerleithen is much better than Borders towns, Hawick or Galashiels. Retail parks, on-line shopping, high rents and rates.....all implicated.

Yesterday’s collapse of Thomas Cook will create another 500 empty shops on our High Streets.
