Autumn Leaves

There was much tension in the house this morning.  Was BB up to going to school?  Should he stay at home?  Who should stay at home with him?  In the end I called school for some advice. I spoke to a very nice lady, who was to get BB’s guidance teacher to call me back.  He didn’t.  TT got cross, and insisted we go down to school.  We had a brief chat, BB was happy to try out school to see how he got on.  We left expecting a call at lunchtime, but it never came.  I tried to call him-  but no answer.  I had to assume all was fine.  He decided to stay all day, and texted me when he got home.  He was weary, and had found it hard going, but I think he was glad to have gone as he was really anxious about missing school.

Meanwhile I have been in touch with the school rugby coach and he is going to try and involve BB somehow – I hope he does, as BB is very upset about not being able to play.

They were pleased to see me at work when I got in, as there was a lot going on.  It took me a wee while to catch up with stuff, but then I barely lifted my head.

The hospital didn’t call me today.  I hope that no news is good news.

Blip famine today – so emergency blip of fallen leaves.
