Ladies who lunch

Instead of a pre-Christmas meal the quilting group always has a post-christmas lunch as it is something to look forward to once the visitors have returned home, the decorations have come down and life is looking a bit flat, especially when it is raining as it was today.

This year I Suggested that, instead of going to a local restaurant, they all come to my house, each bringing a contribution to the meal. There were 17 ladies in total and we had a wonderful, sociable afternoon with plenty of scrumptious food and they were here for four hours during which time there was never a dull moment. I am very hopeful that we will do this again next year!
