The Lozarithm Lens

We had thunderstorms and very heavy rain in the morning so Smokey very wisely spent the morning curled up in the porch as the rain ricocheted off the polycarbonate roofing. In the afternoon I took Archie on a test drive to Hills Pools in the hope of seeing the hobbies known to have been visiting there, but the pools were devoid of any birds, not even moorhens or mallards, and in the air were only crows and gulls and, very briefly, a red kite. Plenty of dragonflies though.

Edit: The hobbies were sighted again this afternoon by luckier visitors (Wednesday 25th).

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Grateful Dead - Attics of My Life (recorded September 1970, Wally Heider Studios, San Francisco CA)
R.I.P. Robert Hunter (23 June 1941, Arroyo Grande CA - 23 September 2019, San Rafael CA)
As something of a Deadhead I was saddened to hear of the passing of non-performing Grateful Dead member Robert Hunter, their lyricist, who co-wrote most of Jerry Garcia's compositions as well as sometimes working with other members of the band. This was one of his own favourite lyrics, found originally on the album American Beauty.
