Wide Wednesday - Piece of History
I didnt have much luck this morning finding a piece of history so after work I took off into the city to get a shot of our new museum which is not due to open until late 2020 so still a ways to go.
They have kept three heritage buildings and made them part of the complex. I love the look of this old building tucked in under the roof of the new museum and there are two others behind this one which are all covered up at the moment as they’re being restored.
This one is Hacket House and used to be the State Library which was built in 1913. Behind is the Jubilee Building (1903) and then the Old Perth Gaol, which is possibly the oldest building here built in 1855. Its going to be quite spectacular when its all finished.
Unfortunately the Museum website is down but here is a link with some info about the whole complex.

It fitted perfectly with todays theme for Wide Wednesday : )
Thanks to Freyjad for this one ;o)x
