Rattled
It was check out day today and we had to have 7 people out the house by 9.30 am. Not the best way to end a nice week away but we did it.
We then had a slight disagreements over where to have breakfast - of all the disagreements to have!!! The young ones wanted to go to one cafe, the old 'one' wanted to go to another as he had filled a free coffee card!!!! I just wanted us all to be together. So after a few tutts and grumps, we ended up in the old ones choice although its my favourite place - I appreciate the young ones wanting a change!
They all then started their journey home. Daughter Number 2 woke with a bad throat so was keen to get home.
Linda, Mr W and I then went to find Perranpoth Beach where we happened to find Anne with Trixie who we met yesterday!!! Of all the beaches in all the world we end up on the same one!!!! The pups had another play and Bella kept stealing AND chewing Trixies ball!!! Sorry Trixie!!! The tide was coming in so we were not able to walk the whole beach as Mr Ws knees wouldn't make the headland !!!
Then we went over to Healeys Cider farm where Bella met some goats, we had lunch and Mr W bought some Rattler to bring home.
Then it was the 6 hour journey home in the rain. We stopped for a coffee and wee break and again Bella was an absolute star. Linda decided to stay the night as she wasnt ready to be on her own yet. Shes been widowed a few years and had a great time with my family and we were more than happy for her to stay a bit longer.
It was SO nice to get into my own bed that felt so soft....and huge.....after the tiny bed we had in Cornwall. Its always good to be home.
