Tuesday: They’re Here

So, I have been hinting, in rather an annoying way, that my colleagues and I have been working on something big.

The Red Arrows have been in North America as part of an 11-week, multi-city, tour. Today they arrived for the Vancouver part of their journey. Whoever thought that working out a programme for 12 Hawk jets, a large A400M aircraft and 100+ RAF personnel, could be so complex?

Day 1 went well, and the weather played along. We had an arrival event at the airport, followed by engagement with university students at the airport, a visit to a children’s hospice and a film event at ‘Science World’ which included a Q&A with pilots and engineers.
