Double Rainbow

Rain had been forecast for the whole day, but as I accompanied my sister on her second ten-minute walk of the day, again we enjoyed bright sunshine and blue skies.

We realised how lucky we'd been when, soon after we returned, the heavens opened. Bright sunshine remained in the blue sky opposite the rainclouds providing the perfect conditions for a rainbow. How extra lovely to see a double one! Took a panorama of it that shows both ends!
