Repaired!

I got our 19th century family bible back from the bookbinders today. When it was handed in, the spine was missing, the front cover unattached and the first few pages were tatty. It now has a new leather spine, the leather and metal have been cleaned and the cover insides ( I’m sure there is a technical term) all renewed. And you can open it, without it falling apart!! The angels seem to approve :)
I hope my descendants look after it well.
