An afternoon spent with 2 friends on the golf course and fortunately the rain that was forecast did not arrive !

Very damp underfoot however and no doubt that explains the eruption of this patch of fungi that we walked past - these were part of a larger fairy ring but it looked as if some fellow golfers had trampled over them.
