Wide Wednesday - History
For a country as old as Mexico, Zihuatanejo has surprisingly little of historic value. That was readily apparent as I searched for a "piece of history" to photograph in order to meet the Wide Wednesday challenge. I settled on the Japanese structure at Plaza Kioto. I see by the plaque that it was erected in 1979 (well at least the plaque was placed then) making it forty years old - which is plenty old enough for a car to be historical. Glad it was still sporting the decorations from Mexico's Independence Day celebration, gave it some extra color.
