Easedale Tarn

Easedale tarn is just above Grasmere on the way up the fells. It's beautiful I'm sure but it was very misty. We went to climb three Wainwrights today but the weather was dull and wet , with low cloud and was fairly inhospitable. After we had got to the top of Sergeant Man we turned around and went straight back down again, retracing our steps.
About half way up the path there is a horrible area of wet slippery stone  slab which was a bit treacherous, and of course we had to negotiate it again going down.
Survived to tell the tale!
This evening we asked blipper Sue Middleton over with Dave and had lovely evening with them.
Thanks for coming Sue and Dave!
