I watched Sue Perkins in Japan tonight ....

Heavens above. Look at the lovely Buddhas. These are representations of their bereaved loved ones! The ashes are stuffed store behind the pretty wall.

When you visit - your swipe card lights up your Buddha. Lovely eh?


And then there were the cafes.... Princess Cafes.... oh dear god! I’m watching for the sake of passing info on to Stevie and Jess! They are heading there in December


Ps. If anyone follows them and wonders why we haven’t heard from them much - this is ‘golden week’ in Beijing- there is limited access to social media and they can’t get into Tiananmen square ..... military showcase or something
