Snail

We went to Monks Cross in York to meet up with daughter and youngest granddaughter for coffee / brunch / shopping / more coffee. Took up all morning and a good chunk of early afternoon.

Mrs madwill and I then called into Sainsbury’s for a late lunch and a few bits of shopping.

Managed to get Finlay out for his walk in between showers...found this lovely snail (which my Google research tells me may be a White-lipped Banded Snail - yellow form). Whatever it is I thought it looked rather striking against the purple plant.

Back home to make stock for some soup...will be making that later. Cauliflower & broccoli.. there may be some Parmesan cheese involved.
