Blinding

These flowers are almost too bright to look at.

Holbein makes a color like this called Opera. I think they gave it that name because it's so loud it screams.

As a watercolorist, I think "Fugitive color! Stay away!"
(Fugitive colors are gorgeous straight from the tube, but they quickly fade  when the painting is exposed to daylight.)
