Abstract Thursday: Ropework

I've rotated the stone faux rope work handrail of one of Bristol's many bridges through 90 degrees for this shot. Out of context and in mono it really does look much more like a rope than it does seen up close and painted in a fairly yucky cross pastel purple colour - imagine a little drop of blackcurrant juice in milk and you get the general idea.
