Lingmoor Fell

Another single Wainwright today bringing our total to 158 out of 214.

We've only managed 3 Wainwrights this week which is a little disappointing but really not bad considering the weather.   

Forecast today was for improving weather during the day - but it didn't.

We got absolutely soaked and almost blown over by the conditions which included sheeting rain and gale force gusts.

Lingmoor Fell is not the highest of fells but it is well located on the south side of the Langdale valley with gorgeous views of the fells on the other side of the valley.
