Claxton Cousins

Lovely that both Keith and Neil were here  today finishing off James's bedroom.  Keith has not been so well over the last years and so it was especially great to see him.

The boys painted probably every room in the house when we first moved to Linton when I was a stuck-at-home-full-time-Mum with a toddler (James) and a baby (Ben)  But we had moved to a fantastic new and huge house and I couldn't believe my luck.  At that time I insisted every room be a different (bright) colour and delighted in the exuberant choices.

Sadly and more practically I'm less headache-inducing in my colour choices these days... 

Today brought back happy memories and it seems astonishing how many years have flashed by!
