Book Scheme

A friend alerted me to a book scheme where a book is 'hidden' somewhere for a child to find. The child who finds the book can read it and 'hide' it for someone else or keep it if they like it. The idea is a chain starts and books that have been enjoyed are passed around. I saw this book today in Newcastle library that was part of the scheme. My friend gave me Michael Rosen's We're going on a bear hunt to start things off.
I love Michael Rosen - he has a radio 4 show about language called Word of Mouth. It's very good.
