The far side

An errand in Kirkcaldy but not before witnessing Geoffrey Cox's performance in The Return of Parliament. A farce in two acts. Cox's performance was a mixture of Restoration Comedy without the manners and a reworking of the dead parrot sketch from Monty Python. "This is a dead parliament, it has ceased to be. It is only standing because Lady Hale has nailed it to the floor". The second act was Boris who brought the house down for all the wrong reasons.

Despite the mixed reviews I'm sure this performance will run and run – at least untill the 31 October.
