Nick comes back to Planet Acme with me - the offer of a free vehicle is compelling. We get him insurance and he heads off with Angus to get the speaker risers that Will has made.

After work I head back into town for another night of over indulgence. First stop, Penicuik, to “get my prescription filled”. Turns out, after queuing and chatting with Alex, that the dentist forgot to stamp it. Grrrr.

Then Screwfix for screws and things.

Purslane on St Stephens St for the next instalment off the IF5 gastronomic journey. Very very good. And we had fun too. Quick drink in Hector’s and off to Rachel and Gilbert’s for more convivial conversation. They have a new lodger - fluent in Gallic, though we confined ourselves to modern-ish languages.
