Northern Lights Wolf Centre

En route to Calgary we also stopped in Golden at the Northern Lights Wolf Centre. All the wolves are 100% pure wolf and were are all adopted as pups as rescues. They cannot be reintroduced back into the wild as they’ve been humanized. They roam on 15 acres of fenced land and are as naturalized as possible. The Centre does a special tour inside the fences for photographers so I’ll definitely book that in the future. I took this photon through the fence using a really high shutter speed to try and eliminate the fence lines. “So so” in terms of effectiveness but it’s the best I could do. The wolves were howling and serenading us. It sounded like a church choir chanting! Amazing.
