I discovered this beastie had taken up residence on the other side of the window in my office. 

When George got back from school, I told him to take a look at the eight-legged behemoth. 

His nose was practically touching the glass when he said "Spider? I can't see a ....aaaaaargh!" 

He can jump backwards pretty fast, I must say.
