Life in a Bubble

Not my usual Friday. Bookended with a visit to the hospital with J in the morning, and my first ever trip to a podiatrist at the other end of the day. In between, a working at home day.

Whilst it was pouring with rain outside, I took a quick photo of a paperweight I bought J for her birthday last month. The reflected lawn is currently a very wet sponge, no grass cutting this weekend.

The paperweight is not glass, but a clear polyester resin with a UV filter. So it remains heavy, but the resin perfectly preserves the sprig.
