The village voted not to adopt the Neighbourhood Plan by 206 votes to 169 in yesterday's referendum, which potentially means that instead of having 15-20 houses built in the village we could be looking at hundreds, with each development having to be objected to separately.  It's all 'what might happen' of course, but we know that at least two of the landowners want to try and develop their land and one of them recently had a plan for 86 houses on the edge of the village rejected.  I can see that one being revived soon.  We may have to look again at the idea of moving away that we considered in 2017.
