Stinkhorn
All this autumnal weather has brought lots of fungi out, which is good news for an amateur mycologist like me. I saw this Phallus impudicus while on our walk over the common. It’s commonly known as the Stinkhorn due to its distinctively unpleasant aroma, and that was very much in evidence!
Staycation Day 3 has otherwise involved catching up on domestic things, including a two-car convoy the the tip.
