Sunset

On my phone.

Officially my cellphone contract ends, at the end of the week.  I don't really want to be tied up for 2 years, but clearly I need a new phone.

I discussed the options............

After much deliberation, I decided on a new 2 year contract, with a new phone, with less data, for about the same price  as my present contract. 

WE did all the paperwork, took the fingerprints, THREE times.

And then, the arrangement was scuttled.  The printer in the shop was not working. 

No printer, no contract, no phone.

No worries................

They would phone me, as soon as the printer came on line, which would more than likely be this afternoon.

They NEVER CALLED.

Leaving me with a blip size problem. In order to take a picture, I pretty much need the phone to be plugged into the electricity.  Eish !

This is the sunset from my complex.

It was a case of turn the phone on, disconnect from the power and  then RUN, while snapping pics and praying, it wouldn't shut down, before I captured something.



I think the sunset,  is quite fitting - it marks the sunset on my phone and an era.

PS.  The phone was a gift from Alain, a hand me down.  Alain has drifted out of my life, the demise of the phone, closes the era.

PSS.  I really miss him.
