Cheeky

Rose to walk hound early in order to get bike to be serviced at 8.30am.  Left bike on time and walked some 25 mins to pool.  Swam just over a mile, should sleep well tonight!
On leaving pool had message from Sam at Bikeambulance.  It turns out bike has too many age-related creaks and clicks which render mending it close to the price of a new bike.  It has been used virtually daily for at least 14 years so perhaps it's time for the adventure of a new one. Out of every negative, comes positive.

Blip is at the entrance to the pool.  When I worked in a primary school and accompanied children for their swimming lesson they couldn't resist bum patting to and from the pool.
