Light and Shade...

The early sun was quite golden this morning. Here it shines on part of the Meadowbank Station’s vineyards. Daughter Margaret and a granddaughter Emily are arriving from Wellington later this evening. Son Duncan and his cat Brian are staying too. Little“Marcus”, the very fluffy tabby rescued from Brayshaw Park, is becoming more relaxed and mellow....,until this evening when he escaped from his room and attacked Brian in the hallway. I suspect Marcus is a very dominant cat despite his small size.
