Unwanted

I had to brush past these tall seeds in order to stay upright on a muddy footpath this morning. The individual seeds embedded themselves in my fleece and were difficult to remove. I don't know what the plant is, but it must be very successful at self-propagation!
Sometimes Russet gets them in her fur too!
