By request - The Hat!

Some of you asked for a full view of `the hat' and as I've dusted the shelf and been otherwise pretty busy today. I thought I'd set up the tripod this evening and take this image. I wasn't quite feeling up to self portrait with hat and I still haven't got around to identifying the felt artist who created it.

My grandson has had a tonsill operation today (and gromits inserted in his ears) so we were already on tenterhooks and then Ann heard that the friend she has stayed in touch with from her school days has died - so a bit of an emotional day all round. Jimmy is fine, but understandably feeling very sore - he comes to stay later in the week, a visit he was looking forward to. I hope it's as good as he anticipates!
