Quite a Guy

Whilst on holiday in the Lake District we were able to visit our very good friends Joan and Pete. As mentioned in an earlier post on Blipfoto they are dealing with a serious health issue.
I shared some epic times with Pete. The above photos go back a number of years to time spent in the Cairngorms in winter. We spent some days on the plateau, digging a snow cave and setting out from it each day climbing and skiing. They were wonderful times and we formed a friendship which I value very much.
Pete went on to do all The Munros, The Wainwrights, Ironman Marathons., The Bob Graham Round, plus some epics in Europe, He has been a member of Mountain Rescue for many years, the list is endless
I hope and pray that healthier times return soon .
