Splish Splash!

The morning started with absolutely torrential rain making for quite a soggy start to a spin out on two wheels...not to mention exceptionally blowy in the strong wind!

However, the rain did ease and make way for some blue skies with sunshine to boot. Madness how the weather can alter! It was a beautiful ride, in the rain and in the sun, fresh air freedom is always a pleasure. Lovely views over the moors on the Thornton Lanes and over into Haworth later on in the ride. The amount of water on the roads was unbelievable in places, lots of flooding...where the torrential rain forecast tomorrow will go is a mystery!!

After the ride I have enjoyed a spot of cottage cleaning, car washing and supermarket shopping. It's now time for nail painting and Strictly Come Dancing! :-)
