Totnes

A day out with our friends in the face of a worsening weather forecast which saw heavy rain arrive late afternoon just as we were returning home. In fact we enjoyed a pleasant visit to Totnes for a coffee stop and browse around the market and shops followed by a light lunch at Buckfast Abbey refectory. After wards we listened to part of a rehearsal by a male voice choir in advance of an evening performance, plus a tour of the impressive abbey and gardens.
